BORDER WALL MATERIAL RELOCATION

We were contracted to relocate thousands of tons of materials situated at multiple sites along the U.S./Mexico border. This involved moving hundreds of truckloads of heavy materials, including concrete, fencing, and other construction elements, that were originally placed for border infrastructure. The logistics required precise coordination and efficient handling to transport the materials safely and promptly across various locations. Our team managed the entire process, ensuring all materials were relocated in compliance with safety standards and timelines while minimizing disruptions to ongoing border operations.

X GAMES AUSTIN

We were tasked with constructing and deconstructing race barriers and fencing for the X Games Austin Super Truck and Rally Car race track. This involved the precise placement of race barriers to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators. The barriers were designed to withstand high-speed impacts from the powerful rally cars and super trucks, while the fencing provided an additional layer of protection. The project required our team to work efficiently, ensuring the track was race-ready within a limited timeframe and dismantling it once the event was complete. The coordination and execution of this task were crucial to the success and safety of the event, which featured high-performance vehicles and extreme stunts.

HYPERDRIVE (NETFLIX)

We were contracted to install concrete and water barriers for the nine different track variations of Hyperdrive, Netflix’s car-racing reality show. The construction involved setting up complex safety measures around the 100-acre course at Eastman Business Park in Rochester, NY. These barriers were critical for ensuring the safety of both drivers and production crews as racers navigated the intense obstacles and dangerous track configurations. Each of the nine variations posed unique challenges, requiring precision placement of barriers to accommodate high-speed turns, drifts, and stunts like “The Leveler,” which tested drivers' balance. Our team worked to ensure that the barriers were not only effective in protecting participants but also seamlessly integrated with the ever-changing layout of the course, making it possible to adapt quickly between filming setups.

SUPERBOWL LI HOUSTON

We were contracted by NLES and the NFL to install 16,000 linear feet of concrete security barriers for Super Bowl 51 in Houston, TX. The project involved the rapid deployment of these barriers to create a secure perimeter around NRG Stadium and surrounding event zones. Our team worked efficiently to ensure that all barriers were strategically placed to meet rigorous security standards, providing critical protection for both attendees and VIPs during one of the largest sporting events in the world. The installation played a key role in maintaining crowd control and preventing unauthorized access while ensuring a smooth flow of operations throughout the event. “For Super Bowl 51 in Houston, extensive security measures were implemented, including the construction and installation of critical infrastructure like concrete barriers to protect attendees and manage crowd flow around NRG Stadium. The project involved multiple local, state, and federal agencies, including the FBI and Department of Defense, which provided intelligence, surveillance, and threat detection support. The installation of these barriers played a key role in securing the stadium’s perimeter and surrounding event zones, ensuring the safety of over 70,000 attendees during the game.”

GRAND PRIX OF HOUSTON INDY CAR

We were commissioned to construct a 1.7-mile temporary race track at NRG Park in Houston, a challenging project that required precision, efficiency, and speed. The track included over 1,500 concrete race barriers, each weighing 8,500 lbs., and more than 1,500 race fences installed on top of those barriers. Additionally, 20+ truckloads of tire barriers were delivered and installed to ensure maximum safety for the race. In a remarkable feat of coordination and execution, our team completed the entire construction in just 96 hours—an achievement unprecedented in the history of racing. This project showcases our commitment to delivering high-quality, large-scale solutions on aggressive timelines while maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance.

"The Transload Group exceeded our expectations performing difficult tasks, ensuring that our materials were packaged and handled safely, while arriving on time to their destination.”
